MY APPROACH
Philosophy
Finding joy in food.
I deeply believe that food has the power to transform our lives to a place of joy, embodiment and health.
My holistic approach to nutritional therapy focuses on finding the underlying issues that may be causing distressing symptoms, and using diet and lifestyle to eliminate discomfort and move towards healing.
I specialize in helping people with food sensitivies or restrictions find and create delicious and nourishing meals that support their health so that they can reclaim pleasure and joy in eating and reduce symptoms.
Often, this includes supporting clients through specific dietary protocols to reestablish balance and gut health. Once we identify food restrictions and restore function, I provide meal plans, recipe and ingredient swaps, and lifestyle supports to help you move from a place of restriction to ease and joy in eating.

Answers to Your Questions
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy is a holistic approach to wellness that focuses on finding the root cause of symptoms through detailed analysis of diet, lifestyle and bio-individual factors.
Through a thorough analysis of a nutritional assessment questionnaire, a 3-5 day food and mood journal, interview questions, and an in-depth therapeutic nutrient protocol, we will co-create a plan to support your bio-individual needs and challenges. This plan focuses on the six pillars of Nutritional Therapy:
– A properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole foods diet
– Digestion
– Blood Sugar Regulation
– Fatty Acids
– Mineral Balance
– Hydration
Through support of these pillars we can transform discomfort into pleasure, and make excellent progress on your health goals!
How is it different?
Nutritional Therapy is a bio-individual approach that recognizes the importance of each individual and their unique experiences and challenges. It is a long-term approach that considers the whole person, and includes 1:1 guidance and support throughout the entire process.
Nutritional Therapy is not a quick-fix approach. Through specific, attainable recommendations and on-going support, we will make sustainable changes that have the capacity of transform your health. Our goal is to support a relationship with food and your body that inspires pleasure and ease!
Is Nutritional Therapy right for me?
If you are experiencing any of these common symptoms:
– Bloating, gas, constipation and/or diarrhea, IBS, nausea
– Acid reflux, GIRD, indigestion
– Brain fog, fatigue, poor sleep, low energy
– Hyper/hypoglycemia, blood sugar dysregulation, Type II diabetes
Nutritional therapy is an effective and holistic way to transform these symptoms into health!
I also truly believe that there is always opportunity to become more intuitive in our eating and overall health, and nutritional therapy is an excellent way to encourage development of that intuition. You don’t need to be experiencing challenging symptoms to create more pleasure in your life through food, movement, sleep and stress relief practices.

“Before working with Jennifer, I knew I was not always eating well. My stomach too often repeated it. And like many folks I wanted to improve my diet and learn about the foods that comprise a healthy diet. From these vague goals Jennifer and I created a detailed eating plan.
The plan tackled known health issues: my high blood pressure, blood glucose level and midday fatigue. It identified unhelpful eating patterns (eating too late in the day), causes of indigestion, new foods to include in my diet.
We were successful. Blood pressure decreased; and fatigue, if I did not stray off the diet, was not a problem.
Jennifer enabled this through our work together. She worked with me to create a healthy, desirable diet; she helped identify problem foods and worked with me to remove them. I think the point here is this felt like a partnership (with my partner pulling me along when necessary). It felt hands-on and on-going, with many discussions and Jennifer answering my questions.
I feel, every day, better because of my work with Jennifer.”
